National Forum on the Human Right to Housing
Wednesday-Thursday, June 5-6, 2019
Hosted by Hogan Lovells, LLP
Join the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty at the 2019 National Forum on the Human Right to Housing. This year’s Forum will focus on our response to the Martin v. Boise decision in the 9th Circuit and beyond. People who are currently or formerly homeless, attorneys, government officials, and advocates from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C., to organize and strategize on ways we can work to end the criminalization of people experiencing homelessness and advocate for the human right to housing. We are pleased to announce this year’s speakers from organizations such as:
National Coalition for the Homeless
San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness
Picture the Homeless
Western Regional Advocacy Project
ACLU of Hawai’i
Disability Rights CA
And many more!
Our keynote speaker this year is Amanda Andere, Chief Executive Officer of Funders Together to End Homelessness.
Registration is now open and includes breakfast for both days, lunch, and a rooftop reception (weather permitting), in addition to plenaries on Policy and Litigation after Martin, and strategy sessions on a variety of topics. View the agenda here. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register soon!
100% of registration fees go towards helping people with lived experience of homelessness and/or low income attend the Forum.
