Consultation on the Permanent Forum on People of African Descent - 29 March -  Geneva, Switzerland

In its resolution A/RES/73/262, the United Nations decided to establish a permanent forum on people of African descent… and that the modalities, format and substantive and procedural aspects of the permanent forum will be concluded by the Member States and observer States, with further consultations with people of African descent.”

To this end, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is organizing a one-day consultation on the permanent forum on people of African descent, which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland on 29 March 2019.

Civil society representatives who wish to participate in the consultation should submit their application by 1 March 2019.
