The USHRN and the 2019 UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous IssuesMar 21, 2019
The 18th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) will take place 22 April – 3 May 2019 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. This year’s theme is “Traditional knowledge: Generation, transmission, and protection.”
As in previous years, there will be opportunities for participants to present statements and participate in the various scheduled events. If you are a US Human Right Network member considering or planning to attend the Forum, please fill out the USHRN Member UNPFII 2019 Questionnaire by 26 March 2019, as this will assist USHRN in planning further opportunities for engagement during the 18th session.

Please keep in mind you must register for the Forum in advance. If you are registering your organization for the first time at the UNPFII, please note that you must register by 25 March 2019.
